In the rare event that your assigned photographer is unable to attend due to illness or an emergency, we draw on our wider network of vetted professionals to arrange a suitable replacement. Ensuring your event is covered is our priority, and we will communicate any changes as promptly as possible.

If your event runs over the scheduled time, overtime is typically charged per additional hour or half-hour increment based on standard rates, and settled post-event. We can adjust event timings in your brief where notice is given in advance.

Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable. If your event is postponed, we can apply your deposit to a future date, subject to availability.

To confirm a booking, we require a 20% deposit. The remaining 80% is due after the shoot and before RAW delivery. Payments can be made by bank transfer or credit card. A 3.5% processing fee applies to card payments.

High-resolution, unedited photos (upon request) are typically available within 24 hours after the event via a secure download link valid for 90 days. Your fully edited photo gallery is delivered within 5–10 business days, giving our team time to professionally edit each image for color, exposure, composition, and consistency while incorporating any agreed-upon preferences from your Event Brief.

We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date and crew. For larger or high-profile events, booking several weeks in advance is advisable. That said, we can often accommodate shorter-notice bookings depending on availability - get in touch and we’ll confirm quickly.

Unedited files are typically delivered via Google Drive. You are not required to supply a hard drive unless you specifically request physical delivery.

All Shootday professionals undergo a thorough vetting process which includes identity verification and portfolio review. While standard background checks are not universally applied, we can discuss specific client security requirements for sensitive assignments and arrange for additional screenings if necessary.

Yes, RAW unedited files are included as standard and are typically delivered via a secure link within 24 hours of the shoot. Physical delivery via hard drive is available on request. Please note that RAW files are provided as captured and require further processing.
