This business kick-off event in Berlin brought together approximately 80–120 team members for an afternoon focused on alignment, engagement, and team connection. Combining presentations, networking, and informal interactions, the event created an opportunity to bring employees together while communicating key messages for the period ahead.
Photography and videography coverage was designed to document both the scale and energy of the event and the smaller, authentic moments that reflected the team’s culture and dynamics.

The objective was to create a comprehensive visual story of the business kick-off, capturing everything from guest arrivals and networking to keynote presentations and team interactions.
With approximately 80–120 attendees and only one crew member handling both photography and videography, coverage needed to be carefully balanced. Major moments on stage had to be documented without missing the spontaneous conversations and interactions taking place throughout the venue.
Key objectives included:
The challenge was creating a polished corporate event story without making the coverage feel overly staged, ensuring the resulting content communicated both the professional purpose and human side of the kick-off.
Shootday developed the coverage around guest experience, movement, and visual storytelling, with videography taking priority thShooShootday structured the four-hour coverage around the natural progression of the event, moving from arrival and networking through presentations, audience engagement, and team interactions.
With a single hybrid photographer-videographer, Shootday maintained an agile approach throughout the event, moving between formats based on the importance and spontaneity of each moment.
A versatile collection of business event photography and videography documenting the Berlin kick-off from arrival through presentations, networking, and team interactions.
The photography combined large-scale crowd imagery, professional speaker coverage, audience reactions, and candid team moments, creating a balanced representation of both the event itself and the culture behind it.
Dynamic video b-roll provided additional material for event recap content, internal communications, and social media, while informal testimonial snippets could add authentic employee perspectives where captured.
Together, the assets gave the client a visual record of the kick-off that could be used not only to recap the event, but also to communicate team engagement, company culture, and shared momentum beyond the day itself.
